كتابكم تطبيق وموقع لتعليم الأطفال الإنجليزية من كتاب مطبوع. صمّمناه للأطفال، ولهذا نجمع أقل ما يمكن، ولا نبيع أي بيانات، ولا نعرض إعلانات.
ما الذي يستعمله التطبيق، ولماذا
- الكاميرا: ليرى التطبيق صفحة الكتاب أو ورقة العمل فتخرج الشخصيات منها. الصورة تُعالَج على الهاتف نفسه، ولا تُحفظ ولا تُرسل إلى أي مكان.
- الميكروفون: عندما يُطلب من الطفل أن ينطق كلمة إنجليزية، يُسجَّل نطقه لثوانٍ ويُرسل إلى خادمنا ليقيّم نطقه خدمة Microsoft Azure للكلام، ثم يُعاد التقييم إلى التطبيق. لا نحفظ التسجيل بعد التقييم، ولا يُستعمل لأي غرض آخر.
- رمز مجهول للجهاز: عند أول استعمال يعطي خادمنا الهاتف رمزًا عشوائيًا لا يدل على هوية أحد، ليحدّ من عدد مرات تقييم النطق في اليوم ويحفظ تقدّم الطفل.
- التقدّم في الكتاب: الصفحات التي أنهاها الطفل وعدد نجومها، على الهاتف وعلى خادمنا مع الرمز المجهول فقط.
- أصوات أوراق العمل: تُحمّل من موقعنا أول مرة تُمسح فيها ورقة، وتُحفظ على الهاتف.
ما الذي لا نجمعه أبدًا
- لا اسم، ولا بريد إلكتروني، ولا رقم هاتف، ولا موقع جغرافي، ولا صور للطفل.
- لا إعلانات، ولا أدوات تتبّع أو تحليل من شركات أخرى، ولا مشتريات داخل التطبيق.
- لا حسابات ولا تسجيل دخول.
للأهل
- الروابط التي تخرج من التطبيق إلى موقعنا موجودة في قسم الأهل فقط، وقبلها سؤال لا يجيبه إلا الكبار.
- يمكنكم حذف كل بيانات التطبيق من الهاتف بحذف التطبيق، أو من إعدادات الهاتف.
- لحذف تقدّم طفلكم من خادمنا، أو لأي سؤال، راسلونا على privacy@kitabcom.com.

Kitabcom is an app and website that teaches children English from a printed book. It is made for children, so it collects as little as possible, sells no data, and shows no ads.
What the app uses, and why
- Camera: to see the page of the book or worksheet, so that the characters appear on it. Images are processed on the device only; they are never stored or sent.
- Microphone: when the child is asked to say an English word, a few seconds of speech are sent to our server to be scored by the Microsoft Azure speech service, and the score is sent back. The recording is not kept after scoring and is used for nothing else.
- An anonymous device token: a random code our server gives the device on first use, to limit pronunciation checks per day and keep the child's progress. It identifies no one.
- Progress: the pages finished and their stars, on the device and on our server with the anonymous token only.
- Worksheet audio: downloaded from our website the first time a worksheet is scanned, then kept on the device.
What we never collect
- No name, email, phone number, location, or photos of the child.
- No ads, no third-party tracking or analytics, no in-app purchases, no accounts or sign-in.
For parents
Links out of the app are only in the parents' section, behind a question only adults can answer. To delete your child's progress from our server, or for any question, write to privacy@kitabcom.com.
